Warehouse Lead
Catalent’s Malvern, Pennsylvania site—known as Catalent Micron Technologies—specializes in particle size reduction and advanced materials science services that support drug development from early stages through commercialization. The site is a recognized center of excellence for API micronization, cryogenic and mechanical milling, and particle size engineering, offering integrated analytical services to characterize and optimize complex drug substances. With extensive capabilities for handling highly potent and cytotoxic compounds, the Malvern operation supports enhanced bioavailability and performance of oral and inhaled therapies under strict GMP and safety standards.
We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Lead to join our team. This role acts as a key subject matter expert in warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while adapting to changing client needs. You will focus on technical reviews, problem-solving, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also supports audits, provides training and mentorship, and serves as a positive informal leader across the site. In the manager’s absence, you will help maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Malvern, PA
100% Onsite
The Role
- Leverage internal and external relationships with clients and brokers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
- Suggest ways to adjust priorities to meet changing client demands and expectations; handle unique situations and assist with problem-solving and prioritization
- Perform technical reviews such as sample records and drive First Time Right initiatives
- Initiate continuous improvement projects for maximum efficiency within the warehouse and across the site
- Serve as a subject matter expert for warehouse regulations, tools, and systems
- Act as an informal leader and positive role model
- Support client and regulatory audits as needed
- Train and mentor new and junior employees within the department and across the site
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related discipline such as supply chain with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred OR High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) with 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day and occasionally lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to climb steps or ladders and occasionally work from elevated platforms
- Ability to wear a respirator and pass the required respiratory medical exam
- Ability to work in loud environments and wear various types of hearing protection
Preferred Skills & Background
- Fork Truck, International Air Transport Association (IATA)/Department of Transportation (DOT), and White Belt certifications are a plus
- Previous supervisory experience highly preferred
