The Spa Massage Therapy Lead is a vital part of our tranquil sanctuary, guiding the team to deliver restorative experiences for our guests. As an inspiring leader, you help nurture a harmonious environment by training, motivating, and coaching fellow Associates, embodying the essence of relaxation and wellness. Your role as a mentor sets the tone for excellence, ensuring every touch and treatment is infused with serenity. You also help maintain soothing spaces and attend to guest needs throughout our spa oasis, championing the art of rejuvenation. Every day, you lead with care and expertise, cultivating a team that transforms each visit into a blissful escape.
KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Experience & Serenity: Welcome guests and colleagues warmly, share property information, and provide relaxing massage treatments in a tranquil setting.
- Sanctuary Standards & Safety: Adhere to policies, uphold safety, report hazards, and inspect work areas for cleanliness and compliance, alerting management to issues.
- Spa Team Harmony & Training: Train new team members on protocols and communicate team documentation or concerns with spa leadership.
- Licensure & Professional Wellness: Keep professional licenses current through ongoing education and timely renewal.
- Oasis Operations & Organization: Communicate supply needs, maintain spa appearance, create weekly checklists, report maintenance needs, and support spa operations as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant experience required.
- Current Therapeutic Massage license in the practicing state, with strong knowledge of massage and body treatments.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and following safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and manuals.
- Effective communication skills for writing correspondence and speaking before groups; able to perform basic math operations.
