Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Coordinator in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access and alarm activity, and support the flow of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, timely incident reporting, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch activity, vehicle movements, shipping and receiving areas, and access points; verify authorized personnel and/or drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch-related logs and reports, including visitor, vehicle, incident, and delivery information, and communicate relevant details to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
