About the Role

Responsible for leading all operational activities of the project team to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects that meet business objectives in terms of Quality, Time, and Cost (QTC). The role requires the courage to mentor system analysts and developers to achieve the application development targets and ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Lead and inspire the project team to deliver high-quality services and meet predefined service level agreements

• Analyze existing and new business models to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Provide solutions by fine-tuning existing systems or implementing new computer systems to meet business needs

• Provide efficient technical solutions with sound technology know-how in understanding technology, vendor solutions in market and the trend.

• Maintain good customer relationship, lead vendors for performance and work, review test case/scenario and verify results, and Prepare related report

• Guarantee all development activities follow compliance requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years of working experience in application service/IT system assessments.

• 5 years of experience in team management, leading a team of 6-10 staff.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in IT application development on at least one platform: Cloud platforms, AS400/Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, database platforms, or Web/mobile applications.

• Proficient in at least one popular programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, COBOL, Python, C++, or Go.

• Proficient in at least one insurance application end-to-end.

Project Management:

• Good project/program management skills and knowledge.

Communication:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Experienced in delivering high-quality services and maintaining strong client relationships.

Language Skills:

Good command of both written and spoken English
