Grace Music School is seeking an organized, personable, and proactive Full-Time Lesson Manager to oversee the day-to-day coordination of private and group music lessons. The Lesson Manager will serve as an important point of contact for students, parents, teachers, and school leadership, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and that students and families receive an exceptional experience.
The required hours for this position are Monday through Friday, during the second shift, with occasional Saturday's possible.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate student lesson schedules, teacher schedules, make-ups, cancellations, and schedule changes.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and instructors regarding lessons, policies, schedules, and school events.
- Help ensure teachers have the information and resources they need to deliver effective lessons.
- Handle day-to-day student and parent questions and resolve scheduling or service issues professionally.
- Support recitals, workshops, teacher performances, and other school events.
- Work closely with management on enrollment, retention, staffing, and operational goals.
- Perform light cleaning and general tidying of common areas, reception areas, classrooms, and lesson spaces.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective students and fielding new student inquiries by phone, email, text, website leads.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented personality
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and requests simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable using scheduling software, email, Google Workspace
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when dealing with last-minute changes or challenging situations
- Previous experience in administration, hospitality, or customer service is preferred
The successful candidate enjoys working with people, is highly organized, communicates clearly, and has an interest in music education. Experience working in a music school, educational environment, customer service, or scheduling role is a plus.
