On-Site Commissary - Full Time

TurnKey Corrections is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Full Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate to support daily operations within a correctional facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is responsible for assisting with commissary distribution and warehouse activities, customer service, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Storage is provided on-site, and products are delivered directly to the facility.

The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with a small team. A comprehensive background check is required for employment.  

Requirements

Full Time, $18.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribute commissary products to detainees in accordance with company and facility procedures.
• Respond to and resolve detainee inquiries and issues related to commissary operations.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including order preparation.
• Complete basic computer-based tasks and data entry as required.
• Troubleshoot and assist with the maintenance of on-site equipment, including: 
  • Computers
  • Network hub devices
  • Kiosks
  • Vending equipment
• Navigate and work across multiple software platforms and company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

• One year of warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
