Salesforce Developer / Applications Analyst
Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite – 5 days/week, Local Candidates ONLY)
Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: Up to $70.00/hr (Commensurate with experience)
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds and integration platforms to join our team onsite in Richardson, TX. This role provides ongoing business support and enhancements within Salesforce. While net-new requirements will leverage modern technology, you will also work in parallel to reduce technical debt, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Aura components, and custom CSS.
- Process Automation: Implement and maintain synchronous and asynchronous processes (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled jobs) as well as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft platforms.
- Requirements & Documentation: Interpret business requirements and translate them into robust, well-documented technical stories and solution designs.
- Governance & Performance: Apply platform security standards, enforce governor limits, perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and optimize system performance for maximum scalability.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Salesforce Expertise: 4–6 years of dedicated Salesforce development experience across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
- Development: 2+ years of hands-on development experience in Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, and CSS.
- Integrations: Direct experience with MuleSoft integrations, external APIs, and asynchronous processing.
- Automation: Advanced expertise in Flows, batch processing, queueable jobs, and scheduled jobs.
- Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security model, governor limits, and architecture best practices.
Required & Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) – Required
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) – Required
- Salesforce Platform Developer I – Preferred
