Description
Midco Diving & Marine Services is the leading full-service underwater construction, inspection, and repair firm in the nation. Our work is critical-we dive deep to maintenance everything from municipal water tanks and bridges to dams and processing plants. Our motto says it all: "We Do That." We're not just growing; we're building a team of passionate, like-minded individuals dedicated to high-quality service.
Ready to keep critical missions moving? We're looking for a Shop & Equipment Manager who takes pride in keeping gear running, fleets operational, and field crews fully prepared. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives on mechanical troubleshooting, strict safety standards, and flawless logistics, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do
-
Command Fleet & Mechanical Readiness: Take full ownership of our trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment-handling services, tracking health via Samsara and oil analysis, managing DOT compliance, and responding quickly to breakdown recoveries.
-
Maintain Life-Support & Technical Diving Gear: Inspect, overhaul, and test dive gear-including umbilicals, am-commands, high-pressure compressors, and helmets.
-
Lead Mobilization & Logistics: Coordinate load-outs with scheduling, transport critical equipment to field teams when needed, and direct inventory stock to prevent downtime.
-
Manage Shop Operations: Supervise shop personnel and assigned divers, enforce strict safety standards, maintain key control, and manage facility and grounds upkeep.
What We're Looking For
-
Experience: 3–5 years in shop management, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment logistics.
-
Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, high-pressure compressors, motorized equipment, and preventative maintenance schedules.
-
Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL preferred or obtainable). Industry credentials (such as Dive Lab Helmet Tech or ASNT Level II VCI) and formal DOT/OSHA training are a huge plus.
-
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable managing fleet tracking and organizing compliance certifications in our document hub.
