How You'll Make an Impact
Lead daily testing laboratory operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow planning.
Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and methodologies aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.
Oversee the calibration, operation, and maintenance of high-current, high-voltage, and environmental testing equipment.
Mentor, coach, and develop test engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Analyze complex test data, interpret results, and communicate findings through detailed technical reports.
Partner with engineering, quality, and product teams to validate requirements and support product development initiatives.
Promote and maintain a safe laboratory environment that prioritizes operational excellence and compliance.
Manage laboratory budgets, capital equipment purchases, maintenance schedules, and resource planning activities.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Seven or more years of experience in a testing laboratory environment, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, circuit breakers, protective devices, and industry testing standards.
Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition tools, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, LabVIEW, and MATLAB.
Proven experience developing testing methodologies, validation processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or comparable quality management systems.
