What You Will Do:
- Develop a strong understanding of Pratt & Whitney Material Review Board (MRB) procedures and ensure adherence to established processes and requirements.
- Evaluate hardware nonconformances and provide technically sound dispositions for internally manufactured and supplier-produced aerospace engine hardware.
- Own technical decisions that ensure product integrity, safety, quality, and compliance with engineering requirements.
- Evaluate, investigate, and analyze nonconforming hardware and support the development of appropriate rework and repair solutions.
- Support manufacturing operations throughout the disposition process to ensure safety, durability, producibility, and product quality.
- Balance manufacturing capabilities with engineering requirements to develop practical, technically sound, and risk-based dispositions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and supplier organizations to resolve hardware issues and support product delivery.
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to safety, ethics, product integrity, and customer requirements.
- Travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
