Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for an experienced and passionate Life Support / Medical/ Trauma Instructor to join our Training Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare training, facilitating simulation-based learning, and assessing participants' clinical competencies and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom lectures, practical skills sessions, simulation-based training, case discussions, mega code scenarios, and competency assessments.
- Assess participants' knowledge, practical skills, clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and adherence to established resuscitation algorithms.
- Facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences for healthcare professionals.
- Conduct skills assessments, simulations, and competency evaluations in accordance with established training standards.
- Participate in course scheduling, instructor allocation, and training preparation.
- Coordinate training activities with internal teams and external clients.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of training delivery and participant experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical practice, or training.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Medicine, Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services, or another relevant healthcare discipline.
- Current instructor certification from a recognized organization such as AHA, HSI/ASHI, NAEMT, Highfield, or another approved resuscitation organization.
- Strong teaching, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct simulation-based training, skills assessments, and competency evaluations.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to effectively assess and provide constructive feedback to participants.
- Professional, confident, and engaging approach to training delivery.
