Express Service Advisor

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lockport, IL is looking for an Express Lane Service Advisor to work in our growing service department.

This position offers weekly pay + monthly commission based on performance

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with customers immediately upon arrival
• Consult and interpret customer needs for technicians
• Utilize exemplary customer service and sales skills to drive sales
• Serve as primary point of contact for express lane repairs and service matters
• Understand customers' problems and arrange for appropriate service
• Prioritize required services, and offer options
• Set and manage expectations of the service delivery for our customers
• Continuously keep the customer updated on repair needs and completion times
• Advise customers of factory and dealer recommendations along with prioritizing those recommendations
• Verify multipoint inspections are completed and reviewed with each customer
• Follow company policy and guidelines along with Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
• Complete required quarterly training along with required yearly OSHA training

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years Express or Service Advisor 
• CDJR experience strongly preferred
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
• Tech savvy – ability to use and learn computer systems and iPad
• Excellent communication and sales skills in person and over the phone
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and prioritize tasks
