JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of the company's clinic.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide medical services to Jabil employees.
  • Refer employees to hospital if necessary.
  • Raise PO to buy medical supplies each month and submit a medical report to the AD Officer each month.
  • Take care of employee's health protection.
  • Excecute medical surveillances and protocols.
  • Execute occupational health risk assesments as needed.
  • Train workers and contractors in applicable occupational health fields.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Medicine, Industrial Hygiene principles, and workplace health regulations.
  • Knowledge of Dominican Republic labor laws, occupational health requirements, and applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Experience managing occupational health programs, medical surveillance, return-to-work processes, and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and manage occupational health risks and workplace-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to supervise clinic personnel, nursing staff, and external medical service providers.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving medical and wellness programs.
  • Ability to establish medical protocols, emergency response procedures, and health promotion initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret health trends and recommend preventive actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present medical information to employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience preparing reports, managing budgets, and controlling clinic operating costs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with medical ethics and data privacy requirements.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Must hold current doctor license.
· Medical College degree or above.
· Preferably have 2 years experience as an occupational doctor in industry related environments.
· Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
