The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation and Quality, builds our leading-edge technology. GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.What You'll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, assembly methods, alignment procedures, and test methodologies for high-precision Electron Optics systems.
- Work closely with Operations, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain to resolve system-level manufacturing and product performance issues
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for yield, reliability, performance, and manufacturability issues using data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
- Identify manufacturing risks early in the product development cycle and drive mitigation plans through design reviews, process validation, and production readiness activities.
- Acting independently, devise and drive innovative analyses and solutions for complex problems.
- Analyze data and/or utilize modeling to drive process, specifications, and design improvements.
Setup complex project plans, across multiple resources disciplines, and drive to completion.
Partner with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to develop and qualify critical components, processes, and technologies.
- Travel up to 15%
Qualifications
Preferred experience:
- Experience with Electron Optics and High Voltage for scanning electron microscopes or equivalent a plus.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctorate in Physics, Electron optics or related fields.
- Entry level Doctorate candidates with strong relevant knowledge, and/or relevant instrument hands-on experience is welcomed.
- Possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, modeling, and data analysis.
- Ability to champion his/her technical solutions to manufacturability issues found with the design.
- Ability to create effective technical presentations up to the divisional level.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) , Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 yearsAbout KLA
