Position: Hospital Cleaner

Job Summary:
As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms, are kept clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas on a daily basis
- Empty trash and replace liners in all areas of the hospital
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in patient rooms, hallways, and other areas as needed
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures in patient rooms and common areas
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap in restrooms and patient rooms
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by following proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department
- Follow all infection control protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Working Conditions:
The Hospital Cleaner will primarily work indoors in a hospital setting. The job may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids, and the use of personal protective equipment may be required.
