VP, People Partner, Global Manufacturing

## Description

The VP, People Partner is a strategic advisor to senior executives, shaping people strategies that enable business growth, transformation, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners closely with leaders to anticipate workforce needs, translate business priorities into people strategies, and influence decisions related to talent, culture, leadership, and organizational design. The role works across executive stakeholders, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and the People Experience Team (PEXT) to ensure enterprise alignment and scalable solutions. Reports to the VP, People Partner, Global Value Chain and supports the designated business area of Global Manufacturing.

Strategic Advisory & Business Alignment

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, integrating people priorities into business strategy.
• Translate business needs into workforce, talent, culture, and organizational priorities.
• Use workforce analytics, benchmarks, and business insights to inform decisions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Advise leaders on complex employee relations and legal matters, guiding sound judgment and risk-based decision making.

Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Strategy

• Shape talent and workforce strategies aligned with business and enterprise goals.
• Partner with leaders on organizational design, restructuring, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Collaborate with COEs and PEXT to develop scalable solutions, including skills, capacity, and future workforce planning.
• Support organizational change efforts, employee impact planning, consultation processes, and compliance with local labor requirements.

Leadership & Talent Strategy

• Lead talent planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Coach executives on performance, talent, and organizational matters.
• Identify and develop high-potential talent to build future leadership pipelines.
• Partner with PEXT to drive learning, team effectiveness, and leadership capability.

Change, Culture & Transformation

• Serve as a strategic partner during transformations, M&A activities, and organizational change.
• Reinforce culture, leadership expectations, engagement, and inclusion.
• Provide guidance on communication strategies related to organizational change and employee impacts.
• Ensure change initiatives are executed with clarity, consistency, and transparency.

Enterprise Partnerships & Solutions

• Partner with COEs and PEXT to align enterprise programs and practices with business needs.
• Influence adoption of people programs, policies, and operating models.
• Escalate enterprise workforce issues as appropriate and recommend solutions.
• Foster collaboration across the People function and key business stakeholders.

Data & Decision Support

• Leverage analytics and business insights to support workforce planning and decision making.
• Measure outcomes, identify trends, and continuously refine people strategies.
• Where applicable, partner with Labor Relations on Works Council strategy and negotiations.

## Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic business partnership, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

• Proven ability to advise senior executives and influence outcomes in a complex, matrixed environment.

• Experience supporting organizational design, transformation, succession planning, and talent strategies.

• Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and executive presence.

• Exceptional judgment, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
