Warehouse Team Leader
St Albans, Hertfordshire
£15.00 per hour
40 hours a week- 7:00am – 6:00pm, 1-hour unpaid break
There are 2 positions available:
- Sunday – Wednesday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Wednesday – Saturday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

We are recruiting Warehouse Team Leaders to join a busy warehouse operation in St Albans.
The ideal candidate will have previous Team Leader, Senior Warehouse Operative or warehouse operations experience, with the confidence to lead a team of 5–10 and manage daily warehouse activities.
You will need WMS experience, a strong understanding of the warehouse process from start to finish, and good computer/Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of 5–10 warehouse operatives.
- Coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities and workflow.
- Ensure warehouse processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor team performance and provide support where required.
- Work across different areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Use WMS and computer systems to support warehouse operations.
- Use Excel and other computer systems confidently.
- Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Lift and handle seasonal products weighing up to 15kg.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Senior Warehouse Operative or experienced Warehouse Operative.
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems.
- A good understanding of the complete warehouse process, from goods in through to dispatch.
- Good computer and Excel skills.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a small warehouse team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- The ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
- The physical ability to lift products weighing up to 15kg.
PPE Requirements:
Candidates will be required to wear:
- High-visibility clothing
- Safety boots
Important Information
Successful candidates will be required to attend a site meeting on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 8:30am prior to starting.
