About the role:
Boston Scientific Mexico is seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive strategy and execution across our Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology and Structural Heart business units.
This role will support market growth, therapy adoption and new product launches while partnering closely with commercial teams, physicians and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong medical device or health care marketing experience with business acumen, customer focus and a collaborative, coaching-oriented leadership style.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute the local marketing strategy for Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology and Structural Heart, aligned with Latin America and global priorities.
- Drive market growth, therapy adoption and market development across the three business units.
- Lead product launches and commercialization initiatives for new technologies.
- Partner with sales teams to develop customer-centric growth strategies, campaigns and commercial tools.
- Translate customer insights, market trends and business data into actionable strategies and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, medical societies and other health care stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop the marketing and therapy development team, fostering accountability, collaboration and growth.
- Collaborate across Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Medical Affairs, Operations, Finance and regional teams to execute business priorities.
- Manage the marketing budget, forecasts and key performance indicators with strong operational and compliance discipline.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing manager or comparable strategic marketing role within the medical device, pharmaceutical or health care industry.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, product launches and commercial growth initiatives.
- Experience working with physicians, key opinion leaders or other health care stakeholders.
- People leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to travel frequently as required.
- Based in Mexico City or able to work from the Mexico City office in accordance with the hybrid work model.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, cardiovascular or related therapies.
- Experience driving adoption of new medical technologies or therapies.
- Knowledge of the cardiovascular market, customers and competitive landscape in Mexico.
