DMO Graduate

The Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) Graduate Programme provides an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop technical and business skills while supporting manufacturing, engineering and digital transformation initiatives within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The graduate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting a range of digital, automation, data and operational technology solutions used across manufacturing operations. The role offers broad exposure to multiple areas of the business and is designed to accelerate professional development through a combination of practical project assignments, coaching and on-the-job learning.

During the programme, the graduate may have opportunities to gain experience across a variety of disciplines, including:

  • Manufacturing systems and digital manufacturing solutions
  • Process automation and industrial control systems
  • Data analytics and business intelligence
  • Operational technology and IT systems
  • Laboratory and analytical data systems
  • Digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Project delivery and technology lifecycle management

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting technology and business improvement projects
  • Analysing operational data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assisting with implementation and optimisation of digital solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, quality and laboratories
  • Supporting system administration, testing and documentation activities
  • Participating in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Building technical expertise through structured development activities

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A 2:1 degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Science or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn
  • An interest in digital technologies, manufacturing operations and innovation

This programme offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across multiple functional areas while building a broad understanding of how digital technologies enable modern manufacturing operations.
