Description
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, Global Treasury Architecture, Systems & Processes to join our Treasury team based in Stabio, Switzerland.
Let’s talk about the role!
Reporting to the Director, Treasury EMEA, the Senior Manager, Global Treasury Architecture, Systems & Processes owns the global functional roadmap, further rollout, optimization, and governance of all global treasury systems and connected treasury processes. The role translates Treasury strategy and operational needs into scalable system capabilities, globally consistent processes, effective controls, and measurable business outcomes.
The position acts as the primary bridge between Global Treasury, Digital Technology, Controllership, Tax, internal controls, banking partners, technology providers, and implementation partners to maintain and enhance Global Treasury capabilities, support ongoing technology initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and ensure globally consistent treasury processes and controls. It leads complex Treasury technology and process enhancement initiatives from requirements and solution design through testing, deployment, adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
How you'll make a difference
Global Treasury Technologies Strategy, Product Ownership & Governance
Own and maintain the global Treasury technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives according to business value, risk, control requirements, dependencies, and available resources.
Act as Treasury functional owner for Kyriba and related treasury applications, managing the enhancement backlog, release priorities, decision forums, and escalation paths.
Define global design principles, process standards, governance, roles, and responsibilities while managing justified regional or regulatory requirements.
Partner with Digital Technology on application lifecycle, architecture, integrations, access governance, change management, incidents, support ownership, and vendor oversight.
Monitor system usage, service quality, operational resilience, and value realization; establish transparent KPIs and report progress, risks, decisions, and benefits to Treasury leadership.
Global Treasury Systems Delivery and Optimization
Evaluate opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and system utilization.
Lead further global rollout of treasury system capabilities across regions, legal entities, banks, and Treasury processes, including structured scope, roadmap, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.
Serve as lead treasury subject matter expert on cross functional team projects impacting treasury systems.
Lead discovery and design workshops, document business and functional requirements, challenge unnecessary customization, and promote scalable standard solutions.
Coordinate configuration, data preparation and migration, bank connectivity, interfaces, testing, cutover, hypercare, and operational handover with regional teams and external partners.
Develop testing strategies and coordinate unit, integration, user acceptance, regression, and parallel testing; ensure defects are prioritized, resolved, documented, and approved before deployment.
Ensure implementations are controlled, auditable, and designed to avoid disruption to payments, cash visibility, reconciliation, accounting, FX, cash and debt forecasting and month-end processes.
Process Standardization, Automation & Controls
Lead end-to-end review and redesign of global Treasury processes, eliminating manual workarounds, simplifying handoffs, clarifying ownership, and embedding effective controls.
Drive automation across bank statements, payments, cash accounting, reconciliations, liquidity reporting, forecasting, financial risk management, and Treasury reporting.
Partner with Treasury operations and Controllership to standardize accounting interfaces, posting logic, exception management, reconciliations, and control evidence.
Ensure system and process changes comply with Treasury policies, segregation-of-duties principles, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, information-security standards, and audit expectations.
Maintain global process documentation, solution designs, configuration records, control narratives, test evidence, operating procedures.
Data, Reporting & Integration
Improve Treasury data quality, ownership, and consistency across Kyriba, ERP platforms (S4 Hana and Central Finance), banks, market-data sources, and connected applications.
Develop a global reporting and analytics framework that provides timely, reliable insight into liquidity, cash, debt, investments, FX, counterparty exposure, process performance.
Develop global reporting for global long-term forecasting with flexibility to manage alternative scenarios.
Lead Treasury functional requirements for integrations, file formats, bank connectivity, APIs, interfaces, and reporting solutions, including ISO 20022 and CAMT adoption where relevant.
Establish monitoring and reconciliation mechanisms that identify incomplete, duplicate, rejected, or inconsistent data and support timely resolution.
Adoption, Capability Building
Own the global adoption and knowledge-transfer approach, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, user documentation, super-user networks, and post-go-live support.
Build internal Treasury capability so that routine functional support, reporting, configuration knowledge, and process ownership are progressively retained in-house.
Manage working relationships with Kyriba, banks, consultants, and other service providers; challenge scope, quality, delivery, cost, and dependency on external support.
Facilitate global user forums to collect pain points, share best practices, align priorities, and sustain consistent ways of working across regions.
Provide functional leadership, coaching, and direction to project resources and workstream owners without relying on formal reporting lines.
Skills for Success
At least 8 years of progressive experience in corporate Treasury, Treasury technology, finance transformation, banking technology, or treasury advisory, with significant responsibility for global or multi-region initiatives.
Demonstrated experience implementing, rolling out, enhancing, or supporting a Treasury Management System. Hands-on Kyriba experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of Treasury processes, including cash and liquidity management, payments, bank connectivity, cash accounting, short term and long term forecasting, FX and risk management, controls, and reporting.
Experience leading complex projects across Treasury, Finance, Digital Technology, banks, and external implementation partners from design through stabilization.
Working knowledge of ERP and integration concepts, file-based and API connectivity, ISO 20022 formats, data controls, testing methodologies, and system change governance.
