Description

  • This is an important product management role, with ownership of product P&L growth strategy, product positioning, business management, sales enablement, and partnership/alliance development and risk management
  • Will require senior-level exposure and play a leading role in managing the current portfolio and products set, and determining long-term strategy as well as the allocation of investment dollars to execute the strategy globally
  • This role will oversee product strategy for a portfolio of solutions and services both for the local Philippines local franchise and for locally incorporated clients across Citi's network
  • The role will also be responsible for Customer Experience, defining our strategy and overseeing the execution of the underlying initiatives
  • This role will be required to drive action across the organization (esp other functions: Operations, Technology, Sales, Control Functions etc) in order to achieve goals and ensure that a BAU operational model is in place
  • The Product Manager will also lead development and expansion of partnerships and alliances within the product ecosystem to create innovative and turn-key solutions between Citi products and other players in the ecosystem
  • The successful candidate must be both a leader and a team player, working with Cluster Product teams, Product Sales, Client Experience, Banking, Implementation, Legal, Compliance and other functional teams locally & globally
  • The Country Product Manager will also work with internal partners to drive the visibility and positioning of the product
  • Manage balance sheet considerations linked to Pricing Beta(COF), Vol Alpha whilst keeping track RLAP, LCR, ROTCE, SNS, local NSFR, portfolio mix elements of the country portfolio across currencies.
  • Develop dynamic portfolio management strategies for revenue maximization by driving NIB vol and IB COF maximization through tier and slab play linked to operating flows. TD spread maximization and keep book growth at minimal by developing interesting IB growth strategies.
  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic LMS product roadmaps for Philippines. Including product roll out last mile delivery risk and control assessments, approvals to enable friction free launches, product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product as well as review client surveys and analyze competitive industry landscape to identify relative trends, threats and opportunities.
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery client experience and client communication strategies as well help the team prioritize, negotiate and remove obstacles to achieve business results in Indonesia.
  • Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Contribute to achievement of new to bank client deposit acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance by sector, segment at a factory level, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Develop and communicate a business plan to sales, banking to approach the marketplace, and implement risk and control procedures, client problem resolutions and support sales with client solution design management
  • Lead client product document negotiations.
  • Lead the content accuracy and risk review of the Country LCAs, CAP grid reviews, RCAs, ARCMs, EUC risk remediation and retirement disciplines, self-identification of issues via CAPs and their closures, own the operational processes and implementation guides for the LMS products. Ensure awareness of local regulatory reports and their accuracy, any new regulatory changes should be understood, shared with the cluster teams, updated in CAP grids.
  • Drive digitization of end-to-end product implementation and operational processes in partnership with global and cluster geography partners. Lead in country audits and regulatory queries.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and local & global regulatory reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of clients, industry players and ecosystem, as well as industry networks preferred
  • Broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, client payment flows and financials analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated data, analytical and AI dashboarding skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Prior product, finance, corporate treasury and/or business experience will beneficial
  • Diverse skills and background are appreciated
  • The incumbent will work closely with regional/cluster product teams to set and track annual revenue & expense targets, and will be expected to support client discussions to help drive wins, program growth and new deal ramp

Education:

  

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience at the minimum
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics or related discipline
