Job Description
1. Portfolio Management & P&L Ownership
Drive Business Performance: Take full ownership of the multi-billion-dollar Fixed Income (bonds, structured notes) and FX (cash FX, dual-currency investments, structured products) P&L across the Personal Financial Services franchise.
Commercial Strategy: Formulate and execute yield-enhancing strategies, pricing frameworks, and volume growth initiatives to maximize net interest income and fee revenue.
2. Platform Architecture & Sales Tool Innovation
Tool & Platform Development: Design, launch, and optimize digital tools for sales teams and self-serve client platforms, focusing on execution speed, portfolio risk management, and automated due diligence.
FinTech Tech Integration: Partner closely with Technology, Quant, and UX teams to build scalable trade execution systems and intelligence tools that empower relationship managers and advisors.
3. End-to-End Product Lifecycle & Operations
Product Governance: Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation, structuring, and onboarding to continuous monitoring, enhancement, and eventual sunsetting.
Process Optimization: Streamline end-to-end product sales flows, settlement processes, and risk checks to reduce friction for frontline staff and enhance the end-client experience.
4. Advisory, Marketing & Campaign Execution
Market Advisory: Translate macro market dynamics, yield curve movements, and central bank policies into actionable investment insights and sales ideas for relationship managers and clients.
Go-To-Market Campaigns: Design and execute high-converting marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and educational content to boost client adoption and transaction velocity across channels.
5. Regulatory Management & Executive Reporting
Compliance & Governance: Oversee regulatory suitability, product due diligence, cross-border considerations, and risk frameworks in alignment with local and regional financial regulations.
Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare strategic business updates, product performance analytics, and growth roadmaps for executive management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field.
Banking Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, global markets, investment banking, or financial services. Prior experience in Product Management or Structured Products is an advantage.
Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of Fixed Income securities, FX markets, yield curves, and derivative/structured products. Experience in investment advisory or client portfolio structuring is highly valued.
Technical & Analytical Toolkit
Market Data Platforms: Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, or comparable financial market platforms.
Data Analytics & Automation: Working knowledge or hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or advanced quantitative analytics tools for data extraction, portfolio modeling, and process automation.
Digital Acumen: Familiarity with digital wealth platforms, order execution workflows, and API-driven financial applications.
Key Competencies
Commercial Mindset: Strong business acumen with a proven track record of managing product P&Ls or driving commercial initiatives.
Collaborative Leadership: Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations, influence cross-functional teams (Tech, Risk, Compliance, Marketing), and lead frontline sales enablement.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex fixed income and FX concepts into simple, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
