## Your Responsibilities

As a Supplier Quality Engineer for John Deere Seeding Moline located in Moline, IL, you will be:

• Provide supplier quality engineering support to our assembly and fabrication departments.
• Lead containment activities and problem investigations for supplier quality issues
• Participate in meetings that review quality performance and launch corrective actions to improve internal (factory) and external (customer) quality
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Product Engineering, and inspectors to improve product quality, reduce defects, and strengthen quality culture across the factory.

## What Skills You Need

• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, including corrective action development and implementation.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication, organization, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

## What Makes You Standout

• Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Experience in supply management.
• Experience with data analysis skills, AI, PowerBI, or programming.
• Quality planning, quality control, or quality improvement experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Leader Standard Work, Daily Management.
• Familiarity with John Deere manufacturing systems.

## Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
