ABOUT THE POSITION
Senior Product Engineer at BURGA is a front-row seat to the creation of products that define our brand and excite our customers worldwide. You’ll lead the journey from initial concept to production, shaping innovative solutions that are not only functional but elevate the BURGA experience. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, your technical expertise and creative problem-solving will directly impact product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Your Role: As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll own the product development process end-to-end — designing, prototyping, testing, and bringing new products to life. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and ensure every product meets BURGA’s high standards for quality, innovation, and manufacturability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the full product engineering cycle — from concept and CAD to prototyping, validation, tooling, and production launch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet market needs and brand objectives
- Design products and components from scratch and create production-ready CAD and technical documentation
- Build and evaluate prototypes, identify weaknesses, and drive design iterations
- Lead DFM and tooling reviews, especially for injection-molded components
- Define and execute product testing and validation to ensure quality, durability, functionality, and performance
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes, including printing, sublimation, assembly, and other product-specific processes
- Identify product and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
- Help build strong internal engineering practices, including CAD/PDM standards, BOMs, revision control, and engineering changes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process or product optimizations to increase efficiency and quality
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5+ years of experience in product development, with strong expertise in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
- Proven track record managing the full product lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, validation, and supplier/manufacturing collaboration
- Hands-on experience translating design requirements into manufacturable products while optimizing materials and costs
- Strong understanding of injection molding, plastic part design, DFM, and mold/tooling development
- Experience validating products and manufacturing processes from prototype through production
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement long-term solutions
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead projects independently and mentor junior engineers
