Ready to see how engineering brings buildings to life? Interested in designing the systems that improve comfort, safety, efficiency, and sustainability for the people who use them every day?
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking MEP Engineering Interns to join our 2027 Internship Program. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to real building design projects, and learn how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems come together to support high-performing spaces across industries. CHA's Building Design team works on a wide range of facilities, including schools, healthcare centers, multifamily housing, manufacturing facilities, sports venues, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects
- Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
- Gain exposure to real-world projects across a variety of industries and markets, applying classroom knowledge to projects that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance
- Participate in professional development, networking opportunities, and intern program activities
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program
- Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship begins (rising sophomores eligible); juniors and seniors preferred
- May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA’s Internship Program
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
