The Role
Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.
This is a maximum term 18-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will support and enhance our site's Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental Management Systems. Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, driving quality initiatives, and supporting a culture of excellence across the site.
Responsibilities
Maintain and improve quality system by ensuring compliance with Quality and Food Safety standards.
Coordinate quality system compliance and audits – document control, internal audits, corrective actions and CI initiatives
Manage consumer complaints, supporting root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, production team members, R&D, etc…)
Monitor and report site quality performance & support training programs
About you
Tertiary qualifications in sciences or a related field
Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to details
