About the Role
As a Salesforce Functional Consultant (Manager), you will lead end‑to‑end Salesforce functional delivery for enterprise clients. This includes requirements discovery, solution design, backlog definition, sprint governance, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring business value realization.
You will manage functional teams, guide best‑practice design, and act as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional Leadership & Client Engagement
- Lead client workshops to define business objectives, user stories, functional requirements, and process maps.
- Translate business needs into scalable, best‑practice Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing or Data Cloud.
- Act as the primary functional lead on projects, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency of deliverables.
- Advise clients on CRM strategy, governance, platform adoption, and roadmap planning
2. Solution Design & Quality Assurance
- Produce functional design documentation including process flows, requirements catalogues, acceptance criteria, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
- Partner with Technical Architects and Developers to align functional and technical solutioning
- Validate solution designs against business goals, Salesforce capabilities, and platform limitations.
- Ensure adherence to PwC delivery standards, security frameworks, and release governance.
3. Delivery Management
- Oversee functional workstreams, manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, and functional QA/UAT cycles.
- Provide direction to junior functional consultants and business analysts, including coaching and capability uplift
- Track deliverables, timelines, scope adherence, and RAID logs.
- Ensure deployment readiness through functional validation and end‑user preparation.
4. Change Management & Adoption
- Support organisational change initiatives including training, communication plans, and adoption strategies.
- Develop training material and deliver end‑user enablement sessions.
- Champion continuous improvement and value realisation throughout the client lifecycle.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 6–10+ years in CRM or digital transformation roles, with deep Salesforce functional consulting experience.
- Proven delivery of multi‑cloud Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, or Data Cloud.
- Ability to lead complex business discussions, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, declarative tools, flows, security model, and integration context.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Consulting background preferred.
