Description
Our client, a large hospital located about 30 mins from Fayetteville, NC, has a need for an Ultrasound Supervisor to join their team. You’ll be working Mon-Fri 6a-2:30p.
Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
POSITION SUMMARY: Organizes and manages the Diagnostic Medical Sonography section of the Medical Imaging department, and supervises section personnel. As a working supervisor, routinely performs the duties of an Ultrasound Technologist.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required:
- Completion of formal program in Ultrasound and certified with ARRT or ARDMS
- Thorough knowledge of ultrasound protocols, procedures, and techniques with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated organizational and communications skills and leadership potential. BCLS certified.
Preferred: Above plus Associate Degree in ultrasound technology or radiography. Supervisory course work, training and experience.
