Company Overview:

Cedarhurst Senior Living is an experienced operator of independent living, assisted living and memory care communities across the Midwest, Mid-South, and Southeast. Cedarhurst Senior Living is part of the Dover Companies, a vertically integrated healthcare organization established in 2007 to develop, construct, acquire, own, and operate high-quality senior living communities. In addition to Cedarhurst Senior Living, the Dover Companies include Dover Development, Brahms Construction, Dover Capital, Dover Health, and Medicine Express.

Cedarhurst Senior Living and the Dover Companies are mission driven — everything we do is grounded in our higher purpose of caring for seniors. Our decision making is informed by our mission “to create communities where each person feels loved, valued, supported and able to live life to the fullest.” Each business unit and each team member have a unique ability and responsibility to impact the lives of seniors, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We also embody an entrepreneurial spirit that has fueled our growth and continues to drive us forward.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Clinical, reporting to the President, will lead the evolution of clinical services across the company’s portfolio of senior living communities. This individual holds resident care as the standard against which every decision is measured. The Vice President of Clinical (VP) will view clinical care as both a core operating discipline and a promise to residents and their families; one that can be intentionally designed, differentiated, scaled, measured, continuously improved, and clearly communicated to residents, families, referral partners, and the marketplace. The VP will establish the vision for Cedarhurst's clinical platform and translate that vision into practical systems, programs, services, processes, training, standards, and tools that allow our teams to deliver excellent, compassionate care consistently across our communities. Working closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, and other executive leaders, this individual will create a clinical experience that meaningfully improves residents' lives and earns families' trust, while strengthening Cedarhurst's operating performance, scalability, and competitive position.

  • Work that makes a difference in the lives of our residents and community
  • An on-site gym with brand-new equipment
