The Opportunity:
The desired candidate will work as a Qlik Developer as part of an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) integrated project team supporting a Department of War (DoW) multi-Agency program. The candidate will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success. Th candidate will support Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics needs for a federal client leveraging Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) data through the Advana platform. The role focuses on transforming complex financial datasets into actionable insights and modern Qlik dashboards used across mission stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik dashboards, visualizations, and data models that meet federal reporting requirements.
- Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines.
- Collaborate with functional SMEs and Oracle EBS teams to interpret financial, procurement, and workforce data structures required for reporting.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring compliance with federal data standards.
- Implement best practices for data modeling, ETL logic, performance tuning, and dashboard usability.
- Support validations, UAT cycles, and production deployments within government cloud environments.
- Maintain documentation for data flows, dashboards, and source-to-target mappings.
- Ensure alignment with DoD security policies, data governance requirements, and change control processes.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and seven years of Oracle ERP implementation and sustainment experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience including hands-on development with Qlik Sense or Qlik View.
- Proficiency connecting to and modeling data from Oracle EBS, ideally Federal Financials modules (GL, AP, PO, Projects, etc.).
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL preferred) and general understanding of ETL concepts.
- Experience developing data visualizations against ERP transactional and analytical data
- models.
- Familiarity with government cloud environments and secure development practices.
- Vendor Certifications with one or more technologies (e.g., Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Lumira).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an IT-2 background investigation.
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of Advana Operational Reporting or the Advana Data Mart structure.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data transformation.
- Familiarity with Databricks ML and AI tools/workflows
- Experience with Agile/SAFE methodologies
