Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Nurse, you will be a compassionate and pivotal healthcare professional, delivering comprehensive nursing care and leading patient-centered care initiatives. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires with at least 1 year of relevant experience.Every day you will expertly assess patient and family health needs, leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans, and providing technical nursing care to diverse age populations from neonatal to geriatric with developmental understanding. You will actively uphold our Organization's Mission, Core Values, and support strategic and Performance Improvement plans.To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills. You will need an unwavering commitment to patient advocacy and continuous quality improvement.
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
- Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
$5,000 Sign on for eligible new hires with at least 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3-5 years.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in health related field
- One to Three (1-3) years of recent acute care experience
- One to Three (1-3) years of recent stroke care experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association
