1) QA/QC Support

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspection Support forms the core of this role. The intern will accompany senior team members on construction site visits to observe and document quality control inspections, photograph site conditions and construction progress, assist with verification that work complies with approved drawings and specifications, and participate in punch list walks and deficiency identification processes.

Documentation and Record Management ensures project quality records remain current and organized. Responsibilities include maintaining QA/QC inspection reports and filing systems, updating deficiency tracking logs and ensuring timely closeout, organizing and cataloging project photographs and visual documentation, preparing meeting minutes for quality-related discussions, and assisting with monthly quality reporting and metrics tracking.

Administrative Support keeps projects running smoothly. The intern will schedule inspection activities and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, distribute quality-related correspondence and notifications, maintain project contact lists and communication logs, and assist with preparation of client presentations and quality reports.

2) Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

Field Coordination and Oversight provides direct construction site experience. The intern will conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and verify schedule adherence, attend construction meetings including progress meetings, coordination sessions, and safety talks, assist with coordination between general contractors, subcontractors, and design teams, observe and document site conditions, work quality, and safety practices, and support resolution of field conflicts and constructability issues.

Schedule and Progress Monitoring keeps projects on track. Responsibilities include assisting with development and maintenance of project schedules using scheduling software, tracking milestone completion and critical path activities, preparing progress reports and status updates for internal and client review, documenting delays, changes, and impacts to project timelines, and helping coordinate sequencing of trades and delivery of materials to site.

Documentation and Administration ensures comprehensive project records. This includes maintaining project files, correspondence, and document control systems, distributing meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, and other project communications, organizing and filing construction photographs and progress documentation, assisting with punch list development and closeout documentation, and preparing presentations and reports for client meetings.

Quality and Safety Support reinforces our commitment to excellence and zero incidents. The intern will participate in site safety walks and help document safety observations, assist with quality inspections and verification of work against specifications, support coordination of testing and commissioning activities, help track safety training compliance and documentation, and contribute to safety meeting preparation and reporting.

Project Closeout Assistance ensures successful project completion. Responsibilities include helping compile closeout documentation including warranties, manuals, and as-builts, tracking completion of punch list items and final inspections, assisting with preparation of final project reports and lessons learned documentation, and supporting transition activities from construction to occupancy.
