Shipping/Receiving - 1st Shift $19.16 per hour

Position Summary: 

Responsible for receiving all incoming material in a timely, efficient manner and ensuring the product coincides with all applicable shipping documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Correctly receive and track parts using the RF system.
• Ensure parts have not incurred any shipping damage and are quality compliant.
• Completing proper material handling documentation (i.e. skid tags).
• Perform on-the-job training as needed.
• Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
• Demonstrate a commitment to working in a safety culture by working safely and correcting unsafe be conditions within assigned work area.
• Work assigned overtime when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to verify quality of a product
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic PC skills with good working knowledge of WM.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work, contribute and succeed in a team environment.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
