Description
Forklift & Machine Operators Needed
Hanes Industries, Inc. in Conover, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt (NYSE: LEG), are seeking forklift & machine operators. Hanes Industries is the leading converter and distributor of nonwoven and woven fabrics used in a variety of markets.
Qualifications and details:
- Reliable work history
- Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds.
- Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
- Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Production reporting to be neat and accurate.
- Ability to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays as needed.
- 1st shift hours are 6:30am - 2:30pm Monday thru Friday.
- 2nd shift hours are 2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday thru Friday.
- 3rd shift hours are 10:30pm - 6:30am Sunday thru Thursday.
- We offer a weekly attendance bonus.
- We offer a shift premium for working 2nd or 3rd shift.
