Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the NGAS Law Department. The paralegal will report directly to the Corporate Director, Division Counsel for Air Dominance Division and will work with attorneys and legal staff across all four divisions within the sector. This position offers broad exposure across corporate and transactional matters and will work closely with other internal stakeholders in the sector and within the Law Department.
This is a full-time, on-site role ideally situated at one of the following locations: Melbourne, FL; Redondo Beach, CA; or San Diego, CA; however, there may be some flexibility in having the position at another NG location for the right applicant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct legal research, particularly in areas relating to Federal government contracting, and assist with special projects, as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for service of process and manage responses to third party records subpoenas in coordination with other paralegals and administrative assistants
- Review basic legal documents (such as teaming agreements, consulting agreements and non-disclosure agreements)
- Support lawyers with potential new hire ethics and conflict of interest reviews
- Prepare routine correspondence
- Team with Law Department specialists and staff enterprise-wide beyond the immediate team attorneys on assigned projects
- Interact with non-Law Department functions and personnel across the sector to support NGAS' legal team
- Update and maintain various Law Department databases and electronic resources
- Assist attorneys in performing in-house training, including but not limited to NDAs and terms and conditions training, managing internal professional development and similar activities
- Responsible for supporting Sector requests for ePROCS reviews on behalf of the Law Department; request attorney assistance as needed.
- Assist the sector attorneys with other activities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a paralegal or in a legal related position in a law firm or corporate environment or education in lieu of experience
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a paralegal or in a legal related position in a law firm or corporate environment. Education in lieu of experience

- Ability to work independently, take initiative, identify and solve problems and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, track progress, and facilitate project collaboration
- Ability to thrive and work reliably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver value across multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in documentation while handling multiple tasks
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines; proficiency in document and transaction management essential
- Able to work comfortably with technology
- High level of professionalism, discretion and demonstrated ability to properly manage and handle confidential and/or material non-public information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with corporate entity structures and related documentation, such as charters, bylaws and board resolutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- In-house experience, particularly at a public company with global operations
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, financings, reorganizations, or other complex corporate transactions
- Experience with legal operations tools (e.g., e-billing, entity management systems, board portal platforms)
Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $121,000.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $143,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
