JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Arena Marketing supports the planning, execution, and reporting of integrated marketing campaigns for State Farm Arena events and business initiatives, ensuring marketing assets are organized and deployed accurately across digital, social, in-arena, and partner channels. This role drives attendance, revenue, and brand affinity for non-Hawks events through a combination of campaign coordination, social media management, real-time content capture, and event-day operational support. Reporting to the Director, Arena Marketing and receiving day-to-day direction from the Specialist, the Coordinator is a key contributor to the Arena Marketing team's ability to execute at a high level across a growing event calendar.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

55% Primary Responsibilities

  • Support integrated marketing campaigns for non-Hawks events, including promotional messaging, event announcements, on-sale campaigns, reminders, and post-event recaps.
  • Manage the Arena's daily social media presence by scheduling content, monitoring channels, engaging with followers, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging social content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other assigned content creation tools.
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing assets across internal and external channels including social media, email, web, in-arena, and external LED displays.

 

25% Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support event-day marketing operations including partnership activations, promoter needs, artist gifting, fan activations, VIP experiences, media requests, and other promotional initiatives.
  • Support Global Partnerships campaigns through content capture, fulfillment, and performance reporting while tracking social media metrics and campaign results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, on-brand marketing assets and messaging on schedule.
  • Maintain digital marketing tools, campaign materials, ticket counts, project trackers, and marketing calendars.

  

15% Tertiary Responsibilities

  • Capture real-time photo and video content during Arena events, with a focus on vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
  • Monitor social trends and cultural moments to identify content opportunities and contribute ideas for campaigns, fan engagement, and social-first activations.
  • Track and compile social media metrics and campaign performance data to support reporting and optimization efforts.
  • Assist with post-event recaps and performance summaries for internal stakeholders and external partners.

 

5% Additional Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional organizational initiatives requiring Arena Marketing coordination as needed.
  • Assist with additional event-day and campaign needs outside of standard assignments as business priorities evolve.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation within a fast-paced organization or live-event environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and brand voice consistency.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools including CapCut, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work non-traditional hours which may include nights, weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in sports, live entertainment, arena/venue, or event marketing.
  • Experience capturing and editing real-time photo and video content in a live-event setting.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting partnership fulfillment or corporate sponsorship campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO, web content management, or digital asset management systems.
