Description
Description
As a Circuit Designer I, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-speed fiber connectivity by designing, documenting, and provisioning telecommunications circuits that power customer services across a rapidly growing network.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer delivery, transforming service requirements into network designs that enable successful installations and activations. You'll collaborate with experienced network professionals, gain exposure to advanced telecommunications technologies, and contribute directly to the expansion of critical network infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Review customer orders and translate service requirements into accurate network designs.
- Analyze network maps, infrastructure records, and equipment inventories to determine optimal circuit routing.
- Assign and provision network resources, including ports, optics, VLANs, IP addresses, and transport paths.
- Create and maintain circuit, route, and equipment records within network inventory systems.
- Develop network design diagrams, technical documentation, and bills of materials to support deployment activities.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across network records, designs, and operational systems.
- Identify capacity constraints, design challenges, equipment requirements, and potential project risks before deployment.
- Partner closely with project managers, network engineers, provisioning teams, field technicians, and activation teams to deliver successful customer implementations.
- Troubleshoot design discrepancies and provide timely updates and corrections as projects evolve.
- Maintain compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and established operational processes.
What Makes You Successful
- You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and finding efficient network solutions.
- You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
- You can balance multiple projects while maintaining strong organizational skills.
- You communicate effectively and collaborate well across technical and non-technical teams.
- You're proactive in identifying issues and committed to continuous improvement.
Why Join Us
This is more than a circuit design role. It's an opportunity to help build and support a growing fiber network that delivers critical connectivity solutions to businesses and communities. You'll work alongside talented engineers and operations professionals, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge telecommunications technologies, and play a direct role in bringing new customers online and expanding network capabilities.
