Job Overview

To manage project planning, inventory control, scheduling, resource allocation, cost monitoring to ensure timely project execution, material availability, cost optimization, and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities

Essential Functional:

  

   Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
• Lead project and inventory planning activities, ensuring material availability and inventory optimization.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, labor hours, and gross margins, and recommend corrective actions for variance control.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Stores, and other cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
• Support pre-bid activities by providing schedule estimates, resource planning, and cost inputs.
• Prepare periodic reports, forecasts, dashboards, and management presentations for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with IMS, quality standards, company procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Approve and monitor WO/SO releases, project status, inventory reports, and project documentation.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, resource utilization, inventory accuracy, and project performance.
• Supports safety and quality goals throughout the facility
• Support continuous improvement for department and organization’s goals.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager and management.

     Authorities:

• Ability to work independently and make responsible and accountable decisions.
• IMS documentation and maintenance.
• Authorize for taking decision of Priorities of Tasks for pump skids.

Supervisory Responsibility:

      This position does not manage employees.

 

Work Environment:

      Full-time, exempt position.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical or related field
• Relevant 5-6 Years experience in Project Planning, Inventory Management, and Cost Control.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems, supply chain processes, and project scheduling methodologies.
• Good knowledge of project management software MS Project and Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced working knowledge of project and production planning principles and application in both a make-to-order and make-to-stock environment.
