We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Developer with a desire to grow while working with a skilled and highly motivated team on leading-edge work. Our team provides IT services for systems engineering and information management systems to multiple major DoD programs. This position supports an established contract developing mission-critical operations. Our customer’s framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Design relational databases
- Requirements analysis
- Unit and integration testing
- Verification and validation testing
- Peer test application updates
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
- Write and maintain application documentation
- Work in Windows, Unix, and Linux environments
- Work in a SCIF environment
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Go, Golang, Rust, or TypeScript
- Experience with designing and implementing modular software architectures
- Knowledge of open application programming interface and providing access to data
- Knowledge of database schema design and structured query language
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Agile fundamentals
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with open-source map libraries, including OpenLayers Map OL, or Cesium
- Knowledge of open-source communication protocols, including MQTT, gRPC, or WebSockets
- TS/SCI clearance
Clearance Requirements
This position requires an active Secret clearance. To be considered for this position, an applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Interim Secret security clearance (or higher)
