We've grown nearly 100 years old now, and command a premiere position among Japanese foodservice suppliers, as well as fill a key role as "Culinary Ambassador" promoting Japanese foods worldwide. Essential Job Functions:

Essential Job Functions:
- Picks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick list in an efficient and timely manner.
- Works with receiving to unload freezer items from delivery trucks in a timely manner.
- Inspects received products for damage and volume accuracy and documents accordingly.
- Accurately stocks inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotates product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage system.
- Partakes in warehouse upkeep and ensures the freezer is clean and organized.
- Participate in the weekly warehouse meetings.
- Attend semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend.
- Provide logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hours.
- Other duties as required from manager.
- Obligation to answer to all management as requested.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking.
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Able to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequently.
- Working Conditions.
- Noise Level: Loud while indoors.
- Required to wear company provided insulated freezer suit while in freezer.
- Freezing temperatures between -55 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit.
Other Requirements:
- Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred.
- Able to work weekends, holidays, afterhours, and 2nd Shift as needed.
- Has and maintains a clean driving record.
- Maintains a positive attitude.
- Works efficiently independently and in a team.
- Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required.
- 2+ years of freezer experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
- Has strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures.
- Forklift training and/or certification preferred.
- Reach Truck certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred.
