We are delighted to say we are recruiting for a Commercial/Project Manager Internship to join our Commercial and Project management department within our Services Division. You will be based at our site in Loughborough and the contract will be a 1 year Fixed Term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to get some real hands-on experience within a growing and sector leading business.
Within this role you will work closely and collaboratively with various teams across a multitude of functions across Commercial Management and or Project Management. You will gain hands-on experience through challenging projects and will need to analize data to help drive outcomes, learn from some of the brightest and most innovative minds in the business and network with a variety of talented professionals.
Within the internship you will
- Conduct data collection, use this data to provide meaningful analysis within the business.
- Learn to apply data-driven analytical approach to problem solving.
- Supporting in developing our services Execution Strategy aligned with the pipeline for Upgrade/complex opportunities within a 3-5 year horizon, Laying out each Opportunity's direction, defining initial key problem areas to Bid/Win
- Support on process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence
- Support on product qualification process
- Have the opportunity to learn and execute Lean Six Sigma tools and make positive impact to the business
- Conduct data collection and learn to apply data-driven analytical approach to problem solving
- Get exposure to Power generation repair workshop machinery & operating technologies.
Qualifications
- You can be a midway through your Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial)
- You can be a recent Graduate from an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial)
- You should have excellent IT skills, with a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
