Description
Linn County Public Health Clinical Services is seeking two (2) temporary Medical Assistants. This position conducts County-wide immunization audits in the school districts; assists with a variety of immunization clinics County-wide, which may include drawing blood, doing finger sticks, taking blood pressures, vital signs and patient histories and dispensing medication; performs other related duties as assigned.
Hourly Wage: $22.75
Valid State of Iowa driver's license required or must have ability to obtain transportation to off-site clinics, meetings, or trainings. Must pass a County physical examination which includes a drug test after offer of employment.Shift varies; 8 hours per day

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or the equivalent
- Two (2) years of clinic, hospital, or public health records keeping and medical experience required.
