Description
Position Summary: Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a CDL, Class A, driver to deliver equipment to jobsites both in state and out of state and assist with installation of restaurant equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate box trucks regularly in the Phoenix and Tucson local markets.
- Deliver equipment to out of state jobs as part of a rotating schedule of drivers.
- Provide relief to our other Class A driver as required.
- Assist in the warehouse when not out on delivery trips.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles, including daily and weekly inspections.
- Assist in installation of equipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Class A CDL in good standing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team.
Physical Demands:
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and poles.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 60 pounds in all directions.
- Operating machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment.
- Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Position type/expected work hours:
