SAP Security Manager – ITC Pune 

The Role 

Entegris is seeking an SAP Security Manager at our Pune India office, to lead global SAP security, compliance, and SOX controls across our enterprise landscape. This role will be part of the IT Business Systems organization and will play a critical role in enabling secure, compliant operations while supporting the ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation. 

In this role, you will lead a small team responsible for SAP security architecture, access governance, and compliance, ensuring alignment with Entegris standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with functional, audit, and transformation teams to design and implement future-state security models across ECC, S/4HANA, and connected platforms. 

What You’ll Do 

Global SAP Security Leadership 

• Own and govern SAP security strategy across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, GTS, and Fiori environments 

• Define and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) models aligned to business processes and compliance requirements 

SOX & Compliance Controls 

• Ensure design, implementation, and ongoing execution of SOX-compliant controls for SAP access and security 

• Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors to support audits, remediation, and control enhancements 

• Maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks and monitoring processes 

S/4HANA Transformation Support 

• Lead SAP security workstream for S/4HANA migration (brownfield/RISE strategy) 

• Design future-state security architecture including Fiori roles, catalogs, and groups 

• Support integration of legacy ECC security into S/4HANA environment 

Team Leadership & Development 

• Manage and develop a small global SAP security team 

• Provide direction, prioritization, and coaching to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement 

• Establish scalable processes and documentation standards 

Operational Security & Access Management 

• Oversee user provisioning, role design, and access reviews across SAP landscape 

• Drive automation and optimization of access management processes 

• Ensure timely resolution of security incidents and access-related issues 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with SAP functional teams, BASIS, infrastructure, and business stakeholders 

• Support security requirements across integrated systems including BW, GTS, and third-party applications 

• Contribute to governance forums and enterprise security initiatives 

What We Seek 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 

• 10+ years of SAP security experience across ECC and S/4HANA 

• Proven experience managing SAP security in a SOX-regulated environment 

• Strong knowledge of:  

• SAP GRC 

• SAP ECC and S/4HANA security architecture 

• SAP Fiori security (catalogs, groups, tiles) 

• SAP BW and SAP GTS security models 

• Segregation of Duties (SoD) tools and methodologies 

• Experience supporting SAP transformation projects (S/4HANA migration preferred) 

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a global environment 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

Outstanding Candidates Will Have 

• Experience with SAP RISE or cloud-based SAP environments 

• Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control or similar tools 

• Experience designing security for integrated SAP landscapes (e.g., SAP + non-SAP systems) 

• Track record of driving automation and simplification in security processes
