Lead Product Owner AI Agentic Solutions

Lead the delivery of AI-powered analytics capabilities that help Caterpillar teams, dealers, and customers gain actionable insights from enterprise data. This role focuses on defining requirements, managing product backlogs, coordinating with engineering and business stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of Agentic Analytics solutions within Insight Hub and One Funnel.

The Lead Product Owner serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value while aligning with Caterpillar's digital product standards and AI governance practices. This role is responsible for day-to-day product ownership, feature prioritization, user feedback management, and successful deployment of analytics capabilities.

What You Will Do:

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own and maintain the product backlog for Agentic Analytics capabilities within Insight Hub and One Funnel.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature requirements based on business needs and customer feedback.
• Prioritize enhancements and defects to maximize business value and user adoption.
• Coordinate release planning and support production readiness activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business teams, analytics leaders, engineering teams, and product managers to define priorities and roadmap objectives.
• Gather and document user requirements, feedback, and enhancement opportunities.
• Communicate product status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Product Support & Continuous Improvement

• Track and resolve product issues, usability concerns, and adoption barriers.
• Monitor user engagement and solution performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support user acceptance testing and validation of new capabilities.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Partner with Data & Analytics, Digital Product Management, AI Engineering, and UX teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Coordinate implementation activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Support compliance with AI governance, security, and enterprise standards.

Agentic Analytics Enablement

• Support development of AI-driven insight generation and conversational analytics experiences.
• Help define use cases that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to experimentation, pilot programs, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Considerations for Top Candidates

• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for analytics, AI, or digital products.
• Experience working with enterprise analytics platforms and data products.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, AI Assistants, Agentic AI, or conversational analytics solutions.
• Experience managing Agile product backlogs and working with global development teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements management skills.
• Experience delivering analytics capabilities that support business decision-making.
• Knowledge of Insight Hub, One Funnel, customer insights, or dealer analytics is desirable.
