Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor of Behavioral Therapy, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care, fostering healing and well-being.

Every day, you'll apply exceptional skills in assessment, treatment planning, group, individual, and family therapy, plus discharge planning. You'll also be a collaborative member of our multidisciplinary team, actively participating in the Unit Community Relations Program.

To be successful, you'll combine strong clinical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and effective teamwork, driving positive patient outcomes and community engagement.

 

  • Plans individualized age appropriate patient care through an interdisciplinary team approach and through interdisciplinary patient care conferences, ongoing patient assessments, re-evaluation of patient strengths and needs.
  • Utilizes professional skills and judgment in delegating and coordinating patient care; includes appropriate resources to manage patient care. Identifies patient/family/significant other learning needs.
  • Address patient and family concerns in a compassionate, problem solving manner to support patient engagement.
  • Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrates effective management of rapidly changing situations and demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis and emergency situations.
  • Complies with internal and external regulations, policies and procedures and participates in development of and supports regulatory action plan compliance with their teams in collaboration with the Manager. This includes completion/delegation and review of chart audits.
  • Participates in Environment of care rounding and monitors action plan follow up as identified and reports status to Director.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of a Master's program 
  • Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Counselor license: NE (IMHP:NE)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

  • 1-3 years of leadership experience

A 64-bed adult psychiatric facility, Lasting Hope Recovery Center is a place of healing. All of the rooms are private. At Lasting Hope Recovery Center, patients find comfort and a team of caring professionals working for them. Often, mental illness and substance abuse occur at the same time. CHI Health Lasting Hope Recovery Center offers an entire range of treatment and prevention services to meet the needs of patients experiencing both challenges. Treatment is built on personal strengths and support systems that treat individuals experiencing these illnesses.
