Job Description
Position Summary:
The Data Enablement Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide analytics capabilities that enable data-driven decision making across Sales, Pricing, Finance, Product Management, and Executive Leadership. This role will oversee the integration of syndicated market data and internal business data across multiple systems and business units, transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive profitable growth, margin expansion, customer success, and operational excellence.
The Manager will lead the design and implementation of scalable reporting processes, advanced analytics, dashboards, forecasting models, and performance measurement frameworks. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner, translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations while developing a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
Success in this role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to communicate complex insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's analytics roadmap aligned with business objectives and growth strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts responsible for reporting, dashboard development, and business analytics.
- Establish best practices for data governance, reporting standards, analytical methodologies, and performance measurement.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities and business challenges where analytics can drive value.
- Prioritize analytics initiatives and allocate resources to maximize business impact.
Data Integration & Governance
- Oversee the integration and management of data across multiple ERP systems, business units, and external data sources.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of scalable data models and consolidated reporting structures.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and governance across all reporting and analytical platforms.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, and other functions to improve data architecture and accessibility.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions that provide actionable insights into sales performance, pricing effectiveness, profitability, market trends, and operational KPIs.
- Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure stakeholders have timely access to accurate and meaningful business performance metrics.
- Establish KPI frameworks that measure business performance across functions.
Dashboard Development & Visualization
- Oversee the design and deployment of cross-functional dashboards utilizing Power BI and other visualization tools.
- Deliver executive-level dashboards that enable proactive monitoring of business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improve dashboard adoption, usability, and business value across the organization.
Advanced Analytics & Business Insights
- Lead advanced analytical initiatives including forecasting, segmentation, profitability analysis, predictive modeling, and scenario planning.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes through statistical and business analysis.
- Translate complex analytical findings into concise recommendations that support pricing strategies, sales decisions, product portfolio optimization, and financial planning.
- Partner with business leaders to quantify business opportunities and measure initiative effectiveness.
Business Partnership & Decision Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Pricing, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Facilitate data-driven discussions and strategic planning sessions.
- Develop business cases and performance analyses supporting growth initiatives, pricing actions, customer profitability improvements, and market expansion opportunities.
- Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, automation, AI, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Lead initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, analytical sophistication, and organizational data literacy.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in processes, tools, and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, pricing analytics, or data management.
- 2-5 years of leadership or people management experience preferred.
- Experience supporting commercial organizations including Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Product Management.
- Manufacturing, packaging, foodservice, or distribution industry experience preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Advanced SQL development and data modeling expertise.
- Strong experience with Excel, Power Query, and financial modeling.
- Experience integrating data across ERP environments such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database structures (Fabric).
- Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and forecasting methodologies preferred.
- Familiarity with Python, R, AI-enabled analytics, or data science tools is a plus.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytical findings to financial and commercial outcomes.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,000 - $171,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
