Position Overview 

  • Provide itinerant specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, ranging from infants through young adults.
  • Deliver individualized services across multiple school and educational sites based on each student’s visual and educational needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement appropriate educational strategies and supports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records while managing an assigned caseload.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Valid Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) Credential required
  • Experience providing services to students with visual impairments across a range of ages and educational settings preferred
