About this Role:

As the BIM Modelling Lead, you will be the most senior technical authority within the BIM team, responsible for owning delivery quality, delivering on time, and developing the capabilities of a team of BIM modelers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organisation approaches model authoring, reality capture, digital twin integration, and AI-augmented workflows at scale. Working closely with leadership and key client stakeholders, you will ensure that the team's outputs are not only technically excellent but directly aligned to the lifecycle management needs of large, asset-intensive organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and author complex BIM models from 3D scans and 2D drawings using advanced Owner-side BIM methods
  • Review and validate models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to project and organisational standards
  • Define and maintain spatial hierarchies including zones, suites, departments, and floors across active models
  • Perform model updates and gap-filling exercises, determining when data can be inferred versus when re-capture is required
  • Support the development and maintenance of team BIM standards, templates, and workflows
  • Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to BIM Modellers, reviewing work outputs and sharing best practices
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to integrate BIM outputs with lifecycle management processes
  • Apply AI and large language model tools to augment modelling workflows, improving quality and efficiency
  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends in BIM, reality capture, and digital twin technology, contributing ideas for continuous improvement

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related building field (required)
  • 8+ years of progressive BIM experience, including at least 2 years in a team lead capacity
  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with extensive experience in Owner-side BIM environments and large-scale asset management contexts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BIM standards including ISO 19650, COBie, and IFC, with a track record of authoring, implementing, and auditing BEPs and EIRs
  • Advanced expertise in reality capture methodologies including terrestrial laser scanning, mobile mapping, and photogrammetry, with the ability to critically evaluate and direct scan-to-BIM programmes
  • Proven experience with digital twin platforms and enterprise asset management software such as Autodesk Tandem, IBM Maximo, or Archibus
  • Demonstrated strategic application of AI and large language model tools across BIM workflows; candidates must present concrete examples of how AI adoption has driven measurable improvements in team output or client outcomes
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing technical teams

Additional Requirements / Skills / Working Hours / Compensation Range

  • The candidate must be willing to work from the Bangalore office as and when required
