As a Systems Engineer, the solutions you design will support not only our clients’ workflows, but also a massive suite of corporate systems that keep our global enterprise up and running each and every day. The team works from the US and Germany as well as from Hyderabad, India.
What You’II Do
This position will be responsible for extending and improving our patching orchestration infrastructure, apply OS hardening measures and extend the support of Linux servers running Debian, Ubuntu and Amazon Linux across multiple data centers and the cloud widening our portfolio of services we offer to internal stakeholders for RedHat Enterprise Linux based distributions. This includes production server deployments, system maintenance, performance testing, tool development and automation using terraform, CFEngine and puppet pipelines. You’ll work closely with talented Windows, Network, and Cybersecurity engineers to ensure the availability of our enterprise applications.

Responsibilities
OS hardening
Modernising and automating the Linux infrastructure
Setting up CI/CD pipelines for OS deployments
Maintaining the overall stability and performance of Linux clusters
Member of 24x7 on-call rotation
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in computer science, foreign equivalent or equivalent work experience required
Deep understanding of systems engineering technologies from the design stage through to implementation and support
Good understanding of AMI build pipelines
Experience with
- large Linux installations and system administration

Desired Skills
RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu and Amazon Linux experience
Experience in administering and deploying virtual instances and physical systems in a large scale
Experience with virtualisation and containerisation such as VMware and Kubernetes
Experience with automation software such as Puppet, CFEngine and / or Ansible
Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Good troubleshooting skills
Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning is a plus
